Who IS Zelda?

 Who IS Zelda?

Ok, you caught me, Zelda is not my real name.  It is in fact, a fake name.  But I am a real person.  I am a real mom to real kids, some of whom I gave birth to, others I married when I married my husband, Tom.  We are grandparents, we live in the South, and we never, ever eat liver.  What else do you need to know?

Here is the cast of characters (for easy reference):

Zelda (me) – pushing 50, inclined to do artsy things

Tom (husband) – no longer pushing 50, but dragging it with him

Jackee – Oldest child, mother of 3

Bo – Oldest son, on his second marriage (the every 5 year plan)

Chase – The lost son; we know where he is, but he is lost in the universe

Ursula – Teen queen and my firstborn, so not a typical teen but way better

Grace – Can make anything from the contents of your wastebasket

Freddy – Shares his m&m’s if he thinks it would help

Bubbles – The baby who has no plans to have children because “that’s gross”

Uncle John – (added 9/24/07) My favorite uncle
